The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has extended by one week the deadline for hospitals to submit inpatient quality data. The new deadline is Nov. 21. The original deadline was Nov. 15. As reported Friday, CMS last week announced that it would extend the deadline for outpatient quality data submission by two weeks, from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15.
