The American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services has re-elected Tina Cermignano, operations manager for quality and environmental services at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as its president for 2009. In addition, the society has elected two members to three-year terms on its board of directors beginning Jan. 1: Michael Bailey, director of environmental services at Greenville (SC) Hospital System, and Gary Dolan, director of environmental services at The Village at Penn State in State College, PA. ASHES is an AHA personal membership group for professionals in environmental services, housekeeping, waste management, transport and textile care.
