The American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services will contribute guest columns to Prevention Strategist, a new quarterly magazine for members of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. In the magazine’s inaugural issue, ASHES Executive Director Patti Costello describes what the organization offers to the field of infection prevention and control. ASHES is an AHA personal membership group for professionals in health care environmental services, housekeeping, waste management and textile care.
