The Health Resources and Services Administration has issued new guidance on emergency management expectations for health centers funded under the federal Health Center Program. The policy notice addresses planning, collaboration and communications, and financial and operational stability in an emergency. Among other actions, the guidance encourages health centers to participate in community-level risk assessments, and align and integrate their plans with other community or regional emergency management plans.
