House Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA) and Subcommittee Chairman Bart Stupak (D-MI) today asked the CEOs of WellPoint, United Health Group, Humana and Aetna to provide information on claim denials related to pre-existing conditions and company policies on maternity coverage in the individual health insurance market. The executives were asked to provide the information by March 12 and to testify at a March 23 hearing on these issues.
