The Center for Healthcare Governance recently added 11 sample board policies and charters to its online Resource Repository. This new group of tools is one of several that will be posted on the Center's Web site in the coming weeks and can be downloaded and adapted for use by individual boards. New sample policies include: general principles regarding conflict of interest; a board policy on conflict of interest (includes conflict-of-interest disclosure statement and attachment); and a code of conduct. New sample charters include: a statement of the roles and responsibilities of the board; a list of duties and expectations of a director; and a board chair role description. Center members can access these and other tools via the Resource Repository on the Center's Web site, www.americangovernance.com. Tools also are available for purchase by non-members.
