Anthony Armada, president and chief executive officer of Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network, was recently named chair-elect of the Institute for Diversity in Health Management’s Board of Directors. Armada will serve as the 2010 chairman of the board.

In his current role, Armada leads not only Henry Ford's flagship 903-bed hospital but also its 25 metro Detroit medical centers and its behavioral health services. He also oversees health care delivery and integration.

Armada joined the Institute’s board in January 2008.
