The AHA Committee on Nominations is accepting nominations for chair-elect of the Board of Trustees, four trustees at large and an independent trustee, all of whom will take office Jan. 1, 2011.
Nominees should be active leaders in health care who are willing to contribute substantively to policy discussions and leadership activities, and have demonstrated their commitment to the AHA vision and strategic framework through participation in AHA governance, policy development or other major activities. Representation from investor-owned hospitals, racial and ethnic minorities, physicians, and women is especially welcome.

Members recommending candidates also may request an appointment to meet with the committee when it convenes at 1 p.m. on April 25, during the AHA Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C.
